Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Spill 8/17 tea here please.

So far, the only drops are of Optum Tech. Either that’s the only department up, nobody is talking, or nobody knows.

I think behavioral health is up! I have been hearing a lot of chatter they have an over abundance of PMs hired during COVID times

Dear Clueless in WFH, I don’t blame you there. Especially when we are all clueless at this point about our future here on a day to day basis.
I hate to see any of these folks in mentioned departments already affected. I can only speak for myself but I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth and my WFH bod will certainly not generate online revenue so pencil pushing it is. Most people need their jobs and don’t just do them for sport so this stinks. (BTW, I know advanced notice of the hatchet man’s arrival won’t do me that much good, but it might soften the blow if I somewhat expect it. Thus I ask for tea.)

Here's the tea. I WFH and spend 90% of my day looking for new jobs on the clock. My "leadership" is clueless much like cher horowitz (alicia silverstone) circa 1995.
