Town halls are a pretty normal monthly occurance, the reason for the anxiety in the comments is that several town halls have been repurposed as "survivors meetings" over the last few months.
It's a tone deaf management move or being used to keep everyone on edge on purpose. Both possibilities are plausible with this executive roster.
I got an invite the other day for the Home and Community town hall 9/6. I am a newer employee, just a couple months here on the Navi side of things. I'm reading these town halls can be dreadful events. I hope this isn't about layoffs to come. Work in our queue runs out most days, an hour into my shift...
OAH is Optum at Home and HC is home and community. My role while not IT works with IT a lot. Hopefully we will hear more soon...
I heard mid September. But definitely by end of the year. Especially overlapping roles
Do you know when the HC/OAH layoffs are happening?
Mostly eng and product in HC and OAH some what.. don't know about navi, landmark etc.
What exactly do you mean by tech? Optum at home? House calls? Landmark? Or what?
What parts of OAH???? Landmark? HOUSECALLS? Navi? Clinicians? Tech?
Are you saying Housecalls too?
How do you know this for sure?
OAH is Optum at Home
Can you still share what it means? I don’t even know what acronyms I work for lol. Are these divisions part of an acquisition or were they teams previously in Optum ??
OAH & HC Both will be impacted - You know, then you know :) that was deliberate in using acronyms. If you don't know what it is, don't worry. It doesn't apply to you. Be happy.
What’s OAH stand for? Tech is huge, thousands of people and prob 100 diff departments/teams.
