I think all of us at Omnicare are fully aware we have had several rounds of layoffs over the past 5 years, especially in the past 2 years. One reason we were not included in this round is because we just had another round in March and we are so bare bones right now, there's not much room left for layoffs without fully dissolving Omnicare.
Yes, they could easily dissolve the company. Those contracts would just be divvied up to nearby competitors in the long term care field.

You guys are acting like Omnicare hasn't already had several cycles of major layoffs in the last few years. Its already fully barebones, besides Omnicare having thousands of major contracts with LTC facilities. I doubt it would just dissolve overnight.

None heard. Which should actually be concerning. They lay off 5000 people, but leave their biggest money pit untouched?

Yeah, Omnicare will have their own separate layoffs soon, either when we are sold, or when we are NOT sold.

Omnicare is in big trouble.

CVS is trying to sell or dissolve this business. The layoff or sale will all come at once. Not in chunks.
