@akfs+1o5yJjvX, you agreed the 8% reduction in salary. So accept what you have now, and stay till you get all RSU. You actually will get more, when the share price goes up. And you are really greedy if you still want the 8%

How's it going with the previous announcement of 8% cut?

As long as Heavy D able to scam more funds from the Singapore Government, it will be fine.

There has to be more than just govt subsidies, unless the subsidies are 100% of the cost to maintain a presence. It's a bad look for the company to budget for a facility that has no product, while laying engineers off in the US and UK. Just another reason why I have no pride left working here.

No other reason.
Engineers are much cheaper than the US.
Partially supported by the Singapore government as well.

I've heard that Singapore is subsidized heavily by the government that props up fake jobs. Otherwise, I have no explanation as to why a fully staffed design center exists that designs no products. Maybe somebody can jump in and tell us all the contributions?

Still waiting for someone to explain exactly what/how Singapore contributes to the bottom line.

Why keep doing layoff?
Just shut down some useless sites to save a bigger money.

Expected. Yep. Hopefully the severance check will pay out in Jan. for avoiding big tax bills. If you're going to get laid off and get a big package it's the ideal time really for that reason. It can mean the difference between 25 and 45 percent taken by our overlords.
