Let’s all go on strike. We have nothing to lose…

I'd rather take my chances with a possible severance and unemployment. Union left my dad high and dry with false promises and no protections as advertised and his entire area wiped out for BS reasons. After that I trust unions less than the vile goons at the top of this company. Both are pretty horrible but there is still that carrot on a stick chance of being laid off with at least something.
I’m in on a strike. I have nothing to lose. Soon my entire dept will be outsourced to a vendor or AllPune….. Let’s make Allsnake management squirm. No way they will for fire us until they have a replacement….
Oh boy. More union talk. Just stop already. The nimrods in Chicago already has made it clear that it would be squashed before any kind of organizing would be made. It has been tried a number of times and only resulted in people losing their jobs.
Get a Union going and negotiate a contract. If it isn’t acceptable, to management, then strike. That’s how it works. You can’t strike without being in a Union. If you strike now, it’s called voluntary termination. Don’t put the cart before the horse. You have no negotiating powers unless you unionize. Management doesn’t care 2 shots about you. A Union will at least pretend to care. You would have a voice then too. Hard to believe Allstate agents and adjusters haven’t banded together on this. You guys are the front lines and are treated terribly by this company. Now they’re getting overseas cheap slave labor to replace you. All the while managers laugh all the way to the bank on your backs.
If the entire claims dept went on strike, it would make an impact…. I agree with OP, we have nothing to lose.
Love it when a new post leap frogs to number one of the most asinine post ever on this board. You guys can’t even agree on a rumor much less a fact that is printed. Riddle me this…how you going to organize this strike
Sis bo-m bah, go team
A number of years back several teams of CCC reps all logged in at their desks and refused to take calls. Every one was termed and walked out by lunch time. It wouldn't work.
Just quit- the ending will be the same
What a d-mb idea.
