I was layed off 8/10/23
Email I received stated my last day is 8/24/23… Does that mean I work until the 24th or am I getting paid out until the 24th. I emailed HR and my manager but haven’t heard back.
Also my dept was WFH position and I have no clue where to return my laptop etc.
I was also laid off on 8/24. In 2024, are we going to get bonus for the around 9 months we worked for in 2023?
When I was laid off, I was told you do not need to work the next two weeks and log off the system immediately. The boxes arrived in a few weeks to return all the equipment. A week before Christmas, management reached out to me on my personal email asking if there was a problem. They were getting bombarded with emails about the equipment not being returned yet. Do you need more boxes? That was my Merry Christmas from C&S benefit configuration. Worse job and management ever!
Comfort Care Transportation is one of the greatest most caring company acquired by this conglomerate. Unfortunately, the Dr. that founded this company sold it to UH. The company was exemplary in its treatment of the patients it transported. Unfortunately, some employees with previous bad metrics were promoted to positions that caused harm. The people at the bottom were always caring and dedicated to Uh philosophy but sometimes bad corrupt leaders take over and cause damage to the brand. It's poor management at the CS and AC level, not Medicare and Medicaid. God bless to all the employees. Don’t worry it’s a good thing. L.C, and A.C will move on to ruin other organizations but the true culprits J.M and C.S will continue with the organization until their poor management is revealed.
The people laid off at Optum were told they had to work during those 2 weeks and was threatened with their severance if they did not meet their VPH. They were also allowed to look for another job.
We had to lay some one off in March and they gave them a month. They were not expected to work during that time.she only logged on to do job searches.
I also know some one who quit a year and a half ago and she still has all of her uhc equipment to this day. No one has ever asked for it
Got to remember one thing, they can hold your final paycheck til they get the laptop back.
You will get a PC return packages delivered to your house.
I was told my last day will be 8/24/23 on 8/10/23 like you. They told me that I was not expected to work these next two weeks given the news I got also to give me time to find new employment. So probably the same for you. If they want back their laptop they know how to contact you! So I would put in as much thought about the laptop as they gave about your job
