Sorry for my ignorance, but do all UHG employees have a non compete agreement? I saw it mentioned on another post. I am trying to get the he-l out of here asap. I looked through my new employee docs I signed when and don’t see anything but I want to be sure! Any one know?

For the number of thousands they are laying off, they don’t have the capacity to go after non- high level folks. Just don’t advertise it, they may spot check for awhile.
If they cared about their “intellectual property” they shouldn’t treat it like garbage. Right to work and who cares about non-competes unless C- level. Can’t have your cake and eat it to. What, are people supposed to be on the streets for the length of their noncompete?
No. And they're not engorceable anyway if the company terminates the employment contract.
Non competes are illegal and unenforceable in California.
Only applies to certain positions. I was axed 11 months ago and now work for a competitor in the insurance industry. I dare them to come after me.
Most here sign a no compete when they sign on. It's part of your employment contract. Also, if you get laid off, it's reiterated in your exit agreement. If you're due for any kind of severance or "exit" pay. You will be required to sign documentation that releases the company from any kind of litigation, etc. As long as you are employed, your a-s belongs to the company.
Thank you!!!
Only certain positions have no competes. Usually physicians.
