Three quick recommendations...
- The cloud isn't a mystery. Your clients were already wayyy ahead of you on this one and just stopped talking to you about it. You can actually meet them where they are in your next role if you choose wisely.
- Start getting in the weeds on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Azure AD, M365, Zero Trust Security, and Incident Response planning. Stop thinking about physical infrastructure as "the solution", or weaving it into some "hybrid" talk track.
- Focus on outcomes. Free yourself from bias on a specific product in your next role and you'll find yourself providing real value to your clients.
