You get an external job offer but you find out you aren't one of the 5000?

I’m looking to leave
Lead with your heart….straight to somewhere else.
When I was layed off before with aetna you had to wait to a designated end date if layed off to collect severance and if u left before then u did not get severance. I was able to work things out with my new job starting in two weeks instead of immediately so I could collect my severance too
Take the offer, but wait until 8/16 to give notice. Maybe you get the severance package AND a new job. Best of luck!
I did have this same situation..took the offer and put in my notice today. Not waiting around for another layoff. I’m not going to survive them all!
You take the job and leave. CVS the way they handled this lost all credibility from its employees. If you stayed, who knows if you will be part of the next cuts due to Karen and Krews bad decisions.
Stay with CVS. If you pass this first round of layoff. You only have to worry about two more and then every year after that. I recommend you stay with CVS because they're a very loyal company
Take it
Honestly even if it were a slight pay it I think I wouldn’t hesitate to run right now. Really not happy with this whole situation.
Depends on the offer.
take the money and run bruh
Depends on what your tolerance is for going through this exact same thing once or twice a year. If this sort of thing doesn't bother you and you want to stay, then stay if mentally this sort of thing beats you up, then take the other job.
Take that sh-t and run! Especially if you are not happy with your current role.
Take the job. You might be part of the overall 25k
i'm in that situation where it MAY occur and I know i'm not one of the 5k - - most likely leave due to the direction the company is headed
Take the offer.
If it pays more than CVS’s poverty wages then I’m leaving.
