Anyone in the UK presales impacted ?
Partner/channel, revenue/sales operations, and globals seem to be hit hard based on the org chart/status unknown/ooo.
no just PMs, sales/preeng, some teams hard
Most folks I have seen leave today are in Product Management
Seems about right. Damn this su-ks. Again.
What’s less than a single hand?
Probably only 2-3 people will get the larger severance period, because of their title and/or how long they have worked for Alteryx (i.e. anything 3 years or longer). Most folks have been around for 2 years or less.

Check the org chart in Teams. From the VP level, it looks like VP ISV and VP Global Partner Marketing are gone. Bummer, they were both good.
Two more in sales gone...just found out.
Listen. We're getting dumped on repeatedly. Goes without saying how much these people need to talk and gripe and listen their real feelings. Reach out to them.

The earnings call last night suggested $30M in savings, largely in Sales and Marketing functions. That's similar to April's size, going from memory.
Has channels/ partner org been affected???
What teams are being effected?
They aren’t “ripping the band aid” because if they do it over a multi-month period, they can avoid penalties associated with the WARN act. It’s sc-mmy but predictable, and the law is written in a way that begs to be loopholed.
Why not just sell the company?
Confirmed. A couple people on my team will be let go today. This su-ks!
Anyone know how many layoffs will occur after this week (through that November date)? Why not just rip the bandaid off and cut them now?
yeah. 2 people on my team gone so far. one of them got deactivated in the middle of standup.
What's going on?
Yes. Commencing at 8AM PT (as of just a few minutes ago). Manager+ HR meetings with employees.
Watch for updates throughout the day.
Internal documents are saying that the layoff period goes from today (August 8) through November 15, 2023. Layoff package is the same identical package as April, and will be based on length of tenure + your IC or manager level.
For the vast majority of those being laid off, severance will be 4-8 weeks. In a few cases it could be up to 10 or 12 weeks, but you would be able to count these individuals on well under a single hand.
Already heard of a few today. It's definitely happening.
