Thread regarding Alteryx layoffs

Everyone needs to act NOW!!

I think it is time that workforce puts pressure on the leadership team.

For those who are not impacted, I am sure you saw how your colleagues were treated during the last round of reductions. Now is the time to act and here is what must be done.

Everyone needs to do the following.

Take 2 weeks off sick- you will still get paid as everyone has sick leave pay.

Do not listen to your manager. He/she knows exactly who is going and will act oblivious to anything

During the last round of reductions, I was told that my manager is also impacted and is going through the consultation. This was bullsh-t. He was not impacted at all.

Also DS needs to be gone. Someone needs to tell her to f right off.

Don't know about anyone else but Mark sounded nervous on the call yesterday. Paula sounded like she had crafted a good story so they could save face.
Also they have zero empathy. Guilt is a selfish thing because you only think of your behavior and NOT how the people you wiped out are feeling or doing. They have plenty of money. All that cuddly behavior they executed was all bs and really showed how stupid they think we are. Oh well...off to new adventures!

Management created this problem. They pulled every renewal in early for pennies on the dollar last year and gave discounts for multi-year contracts.

Now the strategy to find off-renewal cycle expansion deals is to cut costs...good luck!

Forbes assessed Dean Stoecker's net worth at $1.2 billion. He might eventually rescue the company.

You are certainly correct that nobody is safe there.

Always wondered how and why the average tenure of an AYX employee is under 24 months. Now we know …

How honestly can they run a business like this?

@Goody Teo Shoes

I was let go in December last year. I have friends who were let go in the 11% reduction a few months ago... that place is toxic and cutthroat. Top performer or not, nobody is safe there.

Uhhhh….yeah good luck with all that.

No surviving employee is going to stick their neck out on the chopping block.

Axed employees are now going to be too stressed out with figuring out their next steps to really care about this.

Nice try. You sound like someone who was laid off in the 11% group who is trying to start sh!t….
