Thread regarding USAA layoffs

"We are short staffed. Thanks for all your extra time and being so willing to wear many different hats!"

These are the phrases being heard in almost every planning meeting over the last few days. Does anyone with even one living brain cell think this is a sustainable model for the workplace at USAA? Apparently the execs think it's fine, since they just smile and wave while visiting the offices with a tiny blue cake for each building. What 'eee-dee-ocie' Stimpy!

These same execs are basically slow watching a car run out of gas, then come to the rescue with loaded with tiny blue cakes and party favors.

It’s funny cuz their layoffs are what created the short staffing! Such lack of leadership and vision.

Nope. None of this is sustainable but clueless dipsheets that call themselves “leaders” have no ability to see past their office doors to see the messes they are creating. It will blow up on them and when it does, they will react by shoving contractors into roles they aren’t qualified for. In the mean time, they will continue to demand that we do more, in office without pay increases and unbelievable amounts of voluntold time for salaried employees. Work life balance? If you didn’t come from Wells Fargo or Bank of America or you refuse to slob Wayne’s peacock, you don’t deserve a work/life balance. That’s reserved for big bank failures transplanted here to run the company into the ground. And everyone one of these clueless, soulless POS’s can eat my entire bootyhole if they think I’m going to give them 120% and my loyalty. Those days are over. I’m no longer bending over and taking the USAA political di--o all the way up to my esophagus for these no talent arce-clowns that couldn’t even care half a f—k about us.

"They're so special."

Right.

They always thought they were so special. So now, what are they "promising" in return for all of this "loyalty"? You will never be laid off. Nope, that won't work. Your benefits and bonus will be great. Nope, that went up in smoke a while ago. You will get great technology. That line is old.

OK, so we'll just say "thank you."

What B.S.! Tell the peacock to put some of his plummage back into the pot for general welfare!!!!
