Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Does anyone have faith?

While Allstate was once an industry leader in innovation is there any chance that TG will eventually succeed? The strategy seems incredibly flawed in so many areas but there again the lack of transparency leaves so much to the imagination

Zero chance of TG meeting the profitability objectives. I expect the stock price to tank as analysts start questioning the capital being waisted on TG.

Whole lot less agents in 2023. Plenty of mega agents cashed out. Writing is on the wall.
TG is a bust

Same posts from 5 years ago. Oh no we are all doomed. The company will go under, be sold, the customers will all revolt, shareholders will revolt, on and on and on…….

If TG means a cheap price then NO. Their product is expensive and isn’t serviced well. Their marketing doesn’t even match what they’re trying to be. I am not sure that they even know what they’re trying to be.

They’ve hitched their wagon to a myriad of loosing policies. From HR to Marketing to agency relations to product. The road to sanity and profitability would take a buyout and to take the company private. Really sad that so many loyal Allstate customers and employees are going down with this ship. People had love for Sears and Craftsman products. The demise of those household names was mourned. We are in a pre-mourning phase of the demise of Allstate. It’s really not fun anymore. I have faith Tom Wilson and his executive team will come out richer than ever.

Nothing we have witnessed in the past 5-10 years indicates that there is any level of competency in senior leadership with this company. Even the first level leaders are extremely poor. How can a person get promoted into leadership when they have no clue how to go about accomplishing the job they are managing?

Not a chance. The leadership of this company is not smart enough and don't have the business acumen to develop a winning strategy. Born losers literally stealing 6 and 7 figure salaries.
