Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Tech Layoff started by Elon Musk

It's worth noting that Musk played a significant role in the Tech layoff, where numerous individuals pointed out that Twitter managed to operate effectively with only half of its workforce.

As a result, Musk made the decision to release a considerable number of engineers, managers, and support staff. This event marked a pivotal moment for many in the tech industry who were inspired to emulate Musk's approach in optimizing their own organizations. SAP, among others, recognized this opportunity and joined the movement to streamline its operations. It was never targeted!

However, what transpired next was unforeseen by many. $META swiftly emerged and absorbed these displaced engineers, assimilating their expertise and promptly establishing formidable competitors. As a consequence, Twitter's value diminished significantly, while Meta gained a robust contender in the form of Thread.

It is intriguing to contemplate how many other software vendors might encounter similar challenges as Twitter did, although perhaps not to such an extreme extent.

Should a comparable situation arise, it would be appropriate for SAP management to assume full accountability and face the consequences, potentially necessitating their removal from their positions, invoking the concept of management envy.

He is also the main reason all the unoriginal CEOs are backing RTO. Ever since he came out against remote work everyone else has been falling into line. If Elon said sticking a cattle prod up your b-m was good for business, Stankey would make a bee-line to Tractor Supply.

Huh? I mean, who cares...?

We ain't "tech". And Stank ain't Elon, though he fancies himself to be.
