Things won’t change unless claim employees stand together and make them change. UNIONIZE THE WORKFORCE PEOPLE

A lot of other insurance companies now use copart and IAA to get payoffs and info from lenders when a vehicle is a TL. Surprised SF has not gotten there yet.

Put a fork in SF ..IT IS DONE! Leadership has ruined the company. Needs to know when to fold them. Needs to get out while still can.

I agree that this has the feeling of corporate purposely letting this crash and burn in order to justify offshoring claims

Right now air traffic controllers, police officers, social workers, lawyers, teachers are laughing hysterically at the comments about claim reps. Sure answering the phone and talking to a some disgruntled customers is incredibly stressful hahahaha.

Claims is NOT a healthy occupation! Stress does a lot of things to your body. You may not see it in the short run but in the long run your body will deteriorate for their gain. Yes, not a worthwhile occupation today.

Total loss was turned into one of the least enjoyable, and difficult, roles in the company. They decided to address the increasing turnover by treating the employees like its some detention center. No talking. Take a call. Why arnt you taking a call. I dont care if your putting together a TL package drop it and take another 45min call. Also that side work must be 100% perfect or you get a defect...i think they stopped caring about defects and quality 100% though and its all about clicking off tasks and phone slo.

Either way, its a job no one wants to do for the money.

I FEEL that they are setting up to offshore claims roles. Remember them talking about the Guatemalan offices?

its going in waves, depending on demand pool but all of TDP will eventually merge with TL this year.

TL does what TDP used to do, only a few CSAs left to do the mailing of docs but that's it, everything else TL took over, paper work issues, issues with vendor, title issues etc... the rest of TDP was absorbed by TL and they became claim handlers.

so Now TL has even more responsibilities with same pay on top of being understaffed and running off a lot of the experienced handlers, all the calls TDP took now TL takes on top of their own calls as you can imagine the phone q is the worst it has been since probably 2015, perhaps worse than that, but on paper since they got rid of TDP they save money i guess so all good right?

at the rate they are going it would not surprise me if Express merged next with TL or worst , TL merged back with Property like the good old days...

you see every time they merge departments they suddenly think they can do the work with less people while the work doubles and it remains understaffed

Wait…TDP merged with TL?? When? That’s crazy. So TDP is going away permanently?

due to lack of people they merged TDP with TL
~80% of TL CS are new , CAs became/absorbed TDP , TDP is gone

CSs are destroying claims and CAs get yelled at by customers and have to fix the issues, CAs are not allowed to settle claims instead only allowed to fix them after the fact, TMs drop out left and right and new ones come in.

ECRs ,well they do best what they do but they been overshadowed by the new CS work force in errors.

I am not trying to throw dirt at the CSs, its not their fault, they have a lot of new hires that were barely learning how to do their jobs and weeks ago they changed it up by the TDP merger and the amount of tenured CS is not enough to compensate for learning for new hires.

perhaps the ones that have it worse is TDP, they were told they are now TL but haven't been given any proper training, everything was too premature and rushed, CAs had a whopping 2 days of training, its the wild west right now with no one truly knowing what they are doing or so my friend tells me, am i glad i never tried to transfer to TL and instead i asked how things are, i am staying away from the implosion that will happen at some point.

Guess they are just going to have to declare TL a total loss. Time to send to a 3rd party.
