Intel hires grandmaster ethical regulator of artificial intelligence for setting standards for the entire planet when they aren't even a name in the AI industry
I agree OP. Sounds like DEI repackaged in a shiny new wrapper
There is nothing ethical with forcing "wohkeness" on your employees.
Ethics is a set of moral principles which help us discern between right and wrong. AI ethics is a set of guidelines that advise on the design and outcomes of artificial intelligence. Human beings come with all sorts of cognitive biases, such as recency and confirmation bias, and those inherent biases are exhibited in our behaviors and subsequently, our data. Since data is the foundation for all machine learning algorithms, it’s important for us to structure experiments and algorithms with this in mind as artificial intelligence has the potential to amplify and scale these human biases at an unprecedented rate.
AI ethics... making sure AI isn't racist to minorities due to lack of data as a result of them being minorities and outliers...
AKA, equity(Not equality) for AI.
Where is will.i.am when we need him?
I wonder if they are hiring anthropologists for this role?
censorship
Pretty sure there are AI architects who don’t do AI or are architects themselves, either lol!
They help Intel cover its a-s in case AI becomes politically sensitive.
Since you don't have I, we need to create AI.
Making sure that AI agrees with the official lies. There is no Hippocratic Oath for statisticians. Everyone is self-serving, like that 81 million voters.
