How much $$ do fellows make?
Intel engineering is all fake innovation, backstabbing, stealing and lying. Just look at the Sapphire Rapids cache arrangement. It's a non performing joke to push the packaging clowns to senior fellow.

That's how you pad your resume, climb up and all pad your way to a fellow. People who get things done meaningfully without the bloat are not promoted.
I was on an Intel patent committee for years.
I was always fighting against PEs submitting useless ridiculous patents.
We would reject great disclosures from grades 6/7/8 and accept garbage submitted by PEs.
I eventually gave up and quit the committee.
So, now our products have billions of transistors wasting power on features that are full of bugs and no one needs.
In part, this is why IA 'big cores' are so bloated and terrible inefficient compared to ARM cores... Ironic Intel had to unwind all the hardware bloat and make little cores...
But too late, ARM is already threatening Intel's core domain... Ampere is starting to really make Intel sweat in the server...
Things seem pretty hopeless here... There isn't enough revenue and profit being generated to fund the IFS 'moonshot'. 30,000 more heads have to be laid off, minimum.
What is taking the company so long to cut costs? It's embarrassing.
