Several of my colleagues have already left because they were under tremendous pressure. In fact, by creating such pressure, the company practically pushed them out the door. Goal achieved - the company saved something on severance pay. But I'm thinking, why allow them that pleasure? I will do my best to resist the pressure unless I get a much better offer in the meantime, otherwise I don't want to miss the severance pay.

It was pride month, which has always been recognized by T-Mobile. Including non-white non-straight, non-cisgender people is only viewed as exclusion of white, straight, cisgender people if you are a bigot. Why do you feel so threatened by others being elevated and included? Worried your talent and performance won't sustain you if there's equity? Classic white fragility. Take your bigotry and racism elsewhere if you hate it here so much.

The company took a stance and was on the right side of the issue when they mandated vaccines in order to work in the office. For way too long, people who didn't want to get vaxxed were rewarded by being able to WFH while those who did the right thing had to go to the office. The vaccines were effective and limiting the spread and severity of COVID. I have zero regrets and would make the same decision on my own in the he future, with it without a company policy requiring it. Anyone who knows any damn thing about science knows that vaccines are always experimental, as is literally all things science. Some of you really are incapable of critical thinking, original thought, or even just common sense. Scary af knowing I work alongside some real f'n id--ts.
Remember when Mike tried to force everyone in the company to take a dangerous experimental pharmaceutical, LOL.

While it's true that attrition can mean leaders have fewer people to layoff, there is not a deliberate strategy to apply extra pressure specifically to push folks out. Having sat in countless planning discussions, avoiding severance payouts has never come up a single time. Nor has their been a strategy to pressure people so much that they leave proactively. What is true is that there are absolutely real business pressures and sh---y leaders can do sh---y things while under pressure. But these are isolated and random occurrences.
