My understanding is the SHK building falls in sort of a black hole when it comes to corporate buildings. It's too small for a major corporation and too big for a small company. It's interior design with the "airy" atmosphere (atrium/balcony) and high glassed roof is now considered wasteful and inefficient. Any serious developer is probably low-balling the price because they are going to tear it down anyway.
SHK is 80% empty. Why they not consolidate? I guess because no buyers for SHK without a 10 year lease.
Other than the Wafer fabs the plant is about 30% to 40% empty on a rough guess. We have 4 or 5 major office areas that are empty. The HGA and Slider Clean Rooms are empty or sitting with 95% idled equipment. Not including the soon to be Giant Storage Shed between Wafer South and the Dock. Maybe we can rent the unfinished fab out for sporting events or better yet use it for growing soon to be legal pot.
How empty is NRM now? Wondering if SHK can not fit in there.

You're FOS. I walked down to see for myself this afternoon and saw.....construction workers and all sorts of construction material. They might well have postponed the capital spending for equipment but they did not stop the construction.
Yes it was supposed to go to STST but they took the fab to NRM
