I dare any Analysts that attends the quarterly calls, to challenge DXC on why they are not investing in their people through a company wide pay increase. Not country specific... Company wide. Not role specific. (Sales) Company wide. That investment would improve morale and therefore improve revenue.
It's an important question to ask.

Salvino is a master of spin, keeps promising them next quarter every quarter, then telling them his slowed down the decline.
"Look it was a faster decline before, iveliwed it" so the analyst keep hoping like the employees.
His got away with this methodology for 4 years, that's a lot of quarters.
If he was any good the turnaround would have been moving forward in year 3, not full speed cuts lazer focus in year 5.
So much good talent has got fed up of him and left.

analysts would not support "wasting" money that could be used in share buybacks with increasing the cost base (pay rises) - they only focus on things like earning per share so if you cannot improve earnings (revenue dropping too quickly) then reduce the number of shares (ie share buy back)
analysts would only be truly concerned on staff salary if the attrition rate was really high (way above market trend) and DXC was losing existing clients through non-delivery and neither seems to be happening at present

The SUN is hot, the MOON is round, the TITANIC sank, and DXC DOES NOT GIVE RAISES TO COMMON EMPLOYEES!! These are called FACTS. Some folks have VERY thick skulls! 92.72% of DXC stock is owned by institutions. Employees will NEVER be a priority when it comes to sharing any profits...That is why you see so many stock buybacks i.e. YOU'LL NEVER GET ANY PAY RAISES!!!! FIND A REAL JOB AT A REAL COMPANY! DXC must be full of DARWINS, this topic keeps coming up ad nauseam....
