Personally, I'd rather get a package than RTO. I've spoken up about RTO a few times and although my colleagues feel the same, they have been gutless and say nothing. Give me a package or let me stay remote. Otherwise, as an engineer I may see lots of problems, but not, "notice" them. Thus, costing the company MUCH more than I make per year. The choice is up to you Intel! Choose wisely, as I am not the only one!

This is the caliber of engineers at Intel.
The competition is LAUGHING hard!
No wonder this company cannot execute on anything!
OP should LIVE-QUIT on Tiktok. It's all the rage with Gen Zers these days who are basically securing their future careers at...NOWHERE. Which would be fine with me because I prefer working with professionals, not immature children.
OP sounds like an entitled petulant child, millennial or gen xer. Intel would be much better off without these kinds of people.
You still have time to get the package, enroll to voluntary CPM before end of this week
Hey Twinkle Toes, it's not about RTO. You can debate all about RTO and make your point. It's about being dishonest at the job and not doing what you are hired for. The immature threat says a lot about you - need to grow up.
Funny how folks can't give facts about WFH, and just resort to insults like, "..twinkle toes." Are you a manager that just loves sycophants, or an HR rep trying to justify their existence?
Lol. This is like really weird. You would sabotage the company because your winy ar-e doesn’t want to go back to the office?
What makes you so special twinkle toes….
And they asked my name, and I said, "I am legion, because I am many."
that is RTO
If work from home was so successful why is the company nearly bankrupt now? You guys milked the he-l out of the company. What a great result, everyone getting laid off!
Lazy overpaid POS.
I wish INTC has a mechanism to trace such folks and show them the door.
I can already tell there was a pool of more qualified people who could do a better job and they hired OP
OP do your job or explain why u can't u dingbat
And then how would you live with yourself afterwards? This is awfully unethical. Please reconsider.
@@ddb+1nrhiPs4 Irrelevant! I basically said, give me a severance or let me continue to work remote. If I (and others) aren't given remote work status/severance, we shall NOT notice issues that are costing the company significant amounts of money. The company can then fire us, but not before yield has been significantly impacted...
Unless there’s a written contract stating otherwise, companies aren’t obligated by law to pay severance.
