Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

This company has become pathetic

We don't have leadership, we don't have a product, and we barely have a few competent employees. Actually, now that I think about it, saying DXC is pathetic is being generous.

I can't believe it, there so much cost cutting foocus going on at the moment, there's meeting after meeting about it, even down to shutting down servers to save money.

That's how desperate the situation is, Growth ha ha, that's a different direction, so far away.

Managers don't hold growth meetings they are totally incompetent and useless. Sad place to be.

"where only disgruntled employee's look"

Not wanting to point the obvious conclusion of what you are, but

Why not just join in the fun? This is the only place we can vent our feelings. State the truth at work, and you're out. Some of us are p'd off, but only have a couple of years to go until retirement - why rock the already sinking ship?

@lkf+1nqilI3R then don't expect anything TO CHANGE! Posting where only disgruntled employee's look is useless if you want change. Be a grown up and post where it will do some good, or shut up

They are going to rename the company to Costcutter Services Company (CSC)

This truly reflects the accurate nature of the company business. Its no longer primarily a IT Services Company its a more of a Bankruptcy windown business manager. Year on year cuts.

Absolutely cr-p company, constant cuts, meetings about cuts, career is cuts, pay is cuts, cutomers is how you can cut service to them, its cuts about cuts.

All focus is cuts, masters in cuts, all rewards can be given to the Execs.

You'll never know a worse company or leaderless ship than this company, just has existing contract turnover which they are riding on till closure.

You and some others on this forum who have been suggesting 'post it on LinkedIn' must surely realise that future employers will also take note of it, and make sure they stay clear of you. The fact that you would be posting absolute truth about state of the nation on DXC won't matter to them; you would flash on their radar as a potential bad egg.
Hence, no posts on FB or LinkedIn.
People are frustrated, but not stupid
Clear?

To : @wit+1nqilI3R if you want to wine, then do it on Linkedin where people will take notice. Doing it here only other pathetic DXC'ers see it. I am gone, left CSC/DXC after almost 12.5 years. Stayed the last few years waiting to retire. I averaged a $514.00 pay increase each year which is the lowerest increase in my 50 years in IT.

For product, we have Platform X... previously we had Platform DXC !!
Not aware of a single client who bought either of those.
Have not seen the products in action either... only slideware.
The only good products we had were from the Insurance side of the world, which has also withered away owing to lack of investment and flight of top consultants. Most of them are now gainfully employed by the same clients who had implemented those products for their businesses.
Had it not been for the current economic climate and the cost of living crisis in the UK and USA, we would have seen mass exodus of people from these regions by now, on the back of the "no raise" announcement in Q1.
The market may have slowed down a bit, but there are still job openings out there for the bold and the deserving.
For the rest of us , we have this forum to whine and wring our hands.

Let me be clear, when I say we don't have a product, I mean we don't have a good product. I know we have...stuff. It's just not good stuff.
