Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Switched to Verizon yesterday

At least I no longer have to rely on Wi-Fi to make a call in my house since T had nothing here unless I went outside. Seems to be good so far and the prepaid plan is actually a bit cheaper than existing employee plans. So far a win-win.

Feels good to no longer support the company that has introduced so much stress and uncertainty in my life. As a bonus I even have a phone that works in my home.

I'm sure it's worth giving up that 50% discount since you're independently wealthy."

You do not need to stay with the big providers to get good comparable service for less. I saved over $30 a month (even with the 50% employee discount) and still get to use Verizon network.

Changed to Spectrum for mobility ( Verizon). 3 lines and saving about $100/ mth, 15 years with T . No discernible difference is quality of service.

People need to tell the ATT story to friends and family. The word needs to get out about this dumpster fire. Put it on social, parents a kids sports events and anywhere else. Maybe that kind of exposure would get someone with influence to start talking about it….maybe a situation like Bud Light recently went through.

We got Verizon 5G internet. $25/mo UNLIMITED and super fast. It’s been a godsend since we live in a somewhat remote wooded area. Next stop is to replace Direct TV and then cellular. It feels good to shed the dead weight.

Verizon Baby. I have not had a T phone in 25 years. The service in my location always was bad

I wish i had done this sooner but “loyalty”. We’ll no more. Even with the employee discount, going to the competitor was cheaper. And with the emphasis on wireless and fiber, it feels nice to indirectly say FU to the company causing chaos. I hope 60k of us will drop and the 3Q report will be terrible. I ain’t ever coming back. Severing all ties with T. Strength in numbers

you won't regret it and it will probably cost less. sad employee discounts don't even save the employees money any more.

What a bunch of liars. I heard on a call that we have a great network...perhaps the best. Begone trolls!
