Many posts here say bad things about Wayne. Most are true and he deserves all of them. But he never hit his full strength until Tamla. With her to activate all his evil plans USAA went from not caring about employees to trying hard to scr-w them over.

Hey Wayne and Tamla, since y’all are lurking on this site, reading posts and responding like you’re an employee, make sure you don’t miss this thread!!!
Aren’t you blessed to receive a paycheck this week? ???? Are you serious with that question? I prefer to see it as they needed my skillset and it’s something i provide in exchange for pay. I dont think i should be lucky. The company should be lucky i stick around after the bait n switch.
Trashy, corporate leech with low self esteem here: so sorry that my failure to stay silent about my concern for THE MEMBERS and the terrible job Wayne, the EC, and especially Tamla are doing managing their money is upsetting you.
If Tamla cannot make her own bed without breaking her foot then how is she going to run an HR department without breaking it? Oh wait she already has broken it and other departments.
Ain’t nothing but a bunch of corporate leeches with low self esteem on here. This entire website needs to be shut down.
Yes, everyone who disagrees is an HR plant or Tamla herself! Y’all are trash. Please feel free to leave because clearly you are so talented. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out. ✌🏼
When you say something and they know who you are or they can find out, they retaliate. If you report anonymously, they ignore it. That’s why I reported outside USAA.
Sure, sure. Of course! It is a well known fact that business plans are set in stone years in advance and no one, least of all the CEO and EC, are allowed to adjust them no matter what happens! Nice try, Tamla. “Don’t blame me, I’m new!” “Don’t blame me, I’m powerless!” “Don't blame me, changes aren’t allowed!” And when those don’t work, “you’re only blaming me because I’m a woman of color!”
All of you live in glass houses and have the nerve to throw stones. Who are you to judge the EC? And for any of you who claim to work closely with them, what’s stopping you from speaking truth to power, letting them know how you really feel? You’ll never do it because you lack courage and integrity. If things are “so bad” at the top and you have a front row seat, refusing to say anything, then you are just as complicit. No different or better than anyone else. The same company you are bad mouthing is the same company taking care of you and your family. Aren’t you blessed to receive a paycheck this week? And I’m pretty sure your paycheck is more than what most make in a month. You are biting the hand that’s feeding you- how does that make sense? And if you honestly feel that my company is so bad and undesirable for you- please do us all a favor and quit.
Some quick education for those not familiar with business. Finance sets the cost targets and all EC needs to find a way to reduce costs to hit those targets. (Looking for the post on Jeff….) Tamla has been at USAA less than a year and much of this is set 1-3 years in advance. Just saying, perhaps she was sold a lemon like we all were and is just trying to make lemonade. I don’t believe anyone would join a company to be dragged through the mud in their first year. Give her some grace and don’t assume as often companies hire women and set them up to fail. It’s clear your intent is not to help…don’t believe me? Do some research:

Members should bring a class action. It’s the Members money that is being misspent, wasted. Members have to pay more in premiums because of Wayne and the crooked EC’s mismanagement. Members didn’t sign arbitration agreements. If only we could find a way to tell the Members what was going on at USAA….
Exactly. They’re not. But Members pay for them.
Speak more on the spas and flights - how are these considered business expenses?
Not everyone in the company is so far removed from the EC that we don’t see what they’re doing. Some of us are around them every day and are able to directly compare them to their predecessors. Maybe we wouldn’t have to have layoffs, or so many, if Wayne and the EC were doing a better job of managing the company. Like, they could have done a better not charging their personal expenditures to the Members, instead of Wayne going to his house in Florida every other weekend or Tamla taking her directs to the Spa every time someone says something mean about them on line. Maybe they didn’t need to reward themselves with huge bonuses and raises the first year in 100 the company lost money. Maybe you should stop coming on this site if you think we are all “nasty, mean, and disturbing.”
So you told us what a PIP was. Very nice, Captain Bloviate. Still haven't addressed the rise in these along with the death by a few paper cuts style of layoffs still going on. If RTO is such a huge priority for you and your like minded minions, then why are so many desks still out of compliance for having outdated tech and missing items? Why aren't more services opening up in the home office? Probably because you want to "keep it lean", which means running on the cheap and want the returning employees to "deal with it."
Your attitude is "let them eat tiny blue cake." Beyond pitiful.
I’ve seen Class Action Lawsuit brought up here a few times. I know almost nothing about this, but I’m sure someone on here does. I had to sign an arbitration agreement at some stage of my employment and I’m guessing we all did. If there was a disagreement during your employment, instead of hiring a lawyer, you would go through their arbitration process. Since they wrote that agreement and we just had to sign it, I’m guessing its favorable to them. Has anyone ever won an employment suit against them or do those people just vanish like the campus deer?
The question is, after this id--tic policy of RTO and nonstop small layoffs occur, who will be the new CEO to improve employee morale and how could it be done? I thought I’d be here forever and really love my manager and team, but the overall company is sinking.
@3olz+1nnqPa4a
If the EC took feedback seriously like they claim to, the bank wouldn’t be in the hot compliance mess they’re currently in. For years, we voiced feedback on changes that need to happen, only to be labeled as non team players and be told “you were hired to answer phones and sell products, not to dig into procedures and processes that you think are bad.” Wayne and his decisions have set this ship right into the path of the ice berg and will jump with his 7 figure severance right before it hits. The next CEO will then be faced with saving the ship, only to realize that the ice berg hit was fatal and the ship only has 2 hours before it’s 2 1/2 miles at the bottom of the ocean.
I think a class action law suit is the best route. Some people are struggling financially, some could fail to find the right attorney, and some believe they can work their way out of these false PIPs and are experiencing tremendous stress already. Once we have the velocity and the numbers, we will have our day in court. It is just a matter of time.
100% PIPs are being used as a way to manage people out. It may not be illegal but certainly unethical and a total abuse of employees. Though to be honest, any smart employee will find that some actions being taken by management, with the direction and approval of HR/ER can be fought against by a lawyer.
So the reason you wanted all of us "clowns" to be put on a PIP is to enjoy the wonderful severence packages? Think twice. People are not swallowing your thinly disguised tactics nor listening to your double talk.
A PIP is not performance management. Just means you need to get better in some areas of your role. It’s okay to be less than perfect. Humble yourself. It is not retaliation. It’s about you taking steps to become better.
And it’s easy for some of you to throw stones at the EC from below. You have no idea what their world is like, the battles they have to fight, or the finesse it takes to operate at such a high level. All you have to go on is your limited view and assumptions on what you “think” is happening. In absence of knowing the real truth, you create all these nasty, mean, and disturbing stories that you share with your networks and colleagues. How is any of this helping you have a great employee experience? At some point, you have you realize that you’re creating your own poor experience with your mistaken view.
Every company has layoffs. Just like everything in life, there is a time for expansion, and a time for contraction. USAA goes above and beyond to take care of impacted employees with a generous severance package, job assistance, and support to help employees. I encourage you to take advantage of our world class benefits to tend to your mental health and emotional needs. All this anger isn’t doing you any good. Get into therapy. Work through your issues and get on with finding a job/work environment that’s better suited for your abilities.
And maybe YOU will be put on a PIP for revealing the misuse of the PIP. That would be some kind of poetic justice! "You were supposed to go on there and discourage them from posting, not give them more ammunition! How hard could that be, you #$#@@! Let's pull out the PIP."
Clearly, the PIP is NOT about performance. It is about retailiation, and elimination. "Pull out the PIP, they're getting out of hand and will not drink the Kool-Aid!"
So you acknowledge that the PIP is the next step out of the company? You want to retaliate because you can't regain trust that is lost? Shame on you.
Get over yourself, Newbie. If that’s what you really are. USAA is not the open, trusting, happy place they claimed it was. They only said that to get you in the door. They need young bodies to feed the machine so they can axe anyone over 40, who is making more than they want to pay. They’d rather have inexperienced and pay fines than have experienced who push back. The reason is because all of them (“they” and “them” are Wayne, Tamla, Amala, Bob, Neeraj and the rest of the crooked EC) are thinking short term. They’re cutting corners to turn in a good 2023 and then will take their golden parachutes, leaving the inevitable next round of Consent Orders and fines and reputation/member losses to the next CEO and EC.
So a new employee asking why a certain exec is bad is an HR plant? I didn’t even say she wasn’t bad. I just asked why.
Hope every one of you clowns gets put on a PIP. Pathetic.
HR is MEAN - Menacing, Embarrassing, Appalling Narcissists.

You’re clearly an HR plant. I’ve reported the HR team internally and been retaliated for doing it. That’s WHY I no longer report inside. You’re not Honest, Open, or Transparent; you’re Retaliatory, Uncaring, Divisive, and Egotistical. RUDE.
RUDE. RUDE. RUDE. (Rings bell) RUDE. RUDE. RUDE. (Rings bell) RUDE. RUDE. RUDE. (Rings bell) RUDE. RUDE. RUDE. (Rings bell) RUDE. RUDE. RUDE. (Rings bell) RUDE. RUDE. RUDE. (Rings bell)
The CHRO and her supporting team are HOT- honest, open, and transparent. Know that HR can handle your truth. Challenging all of you to voice your concerns internally to her team. Our CHRO has been very vocal about wanting to hear from you directly. If you don’t have the courage to speak up and make yourself known internally, your cheap shots on these anonymous boards mean nothing. It’s childish. Grow up.
You are 100% correct. This contempt that everyone is voicing is tied to their BEHAVIOR and nothing else. Besides, that, Wayne and Bob are white men and everyone is complaining about them, too.
What should we help them with? Screwing over more employees? They seem to be doing a fine job at that without any extra help. You should face the reality that these two could be white, black, Hispanic, or asian...IT DOESN'T MATTER. The agenda that they are pushed through is garbage and is hurting the company.
Careful with names here, site mods allow naming c-suits only. If you try to name a coworker or a middle manager you might get banned.
Y’all just hate to see two powerful women of color winning in corporate America. Stop hating and get your money up. Both women are great and have something amazing to offer USAA. Find a way to help them be successful vs cutting them down anonymously online.
Pat had no business being CHRO and was pretty horrible at it. But most of the things we fault her for were Wayne P decisions (cutting retirement benefits etc). Pat was forced into retirement bc she refused to go with Wayne's plans for RTO. She told him that he couldn't go back on his word and that he'd be negatively effecting families, mother's, caretakers etc. Wayne told her he was doing it his way and she could fu-k off.
Our current CHRO is chiseling her face upon the USAA mount Rushmore of failure next to Wayne, Bob, and another one of Wayne for good measure
Rumor has it that she buys a new pair of eyeglasses to commemorate each of USAA’s RIFs.
Didn’t Pat retire?
Pat T was laid off in the last round.
