Pat is co--y because he has the full confidence of the BoD they are all in.

All of the western world seems willing to hand Intel billions without due diligence and just blind hope that the good old monolisitic times will return and completely ignore the fact Intel has no leadership in technology, manufacturing, cost or talent. All this competitors have fundamental competitive advantages that Intel has no real answers for except hope of global conflict

@1lkm+1nnqFBML It is interesting as Pat has nothing to be co--y about

According to TSMC chairmen, Pat is co--y and disrespectful. I am gonna bet that board members have coached Pat to back off and be quiet. They would probably advise him to focus on execution and delighting customers and the rest will take care of itself.

@lbu No not really but you must admit BK was more transparent than this regime.

BK was awful. He came up with ACT and that hurt the company forever. But one thing he had was being a bit more cautious of the rethoric he spoke to the press… PG has said some pretty d-mb things (AMD in the rear view mirror? Really? Or SPR being amazing, etc) and those pretentious bravado talks will come back to bite him in the a-s! Also PG is following BK’s footsteps with firing the wrong people at the wrong time and butchering once again the little good engineering leftover here! PG’s ACT 2 ladies and gentlemen!

Would you rather go back to BK? I certainly would not.

Ren zhengfei should be the CEO. The only man that can save Intel.

Pat is a complete weirdo. I was at 2 meetings with him . I got to know CRB and PSO fairly well …… I say this only to make the following point: I enjoyed CRB and PSO , they had their faults ,but they were good company. PG on the other hand is one of those people you can’t wait to say goodbye to. Not only is he a completely weird geek guy who seems to be from another planet, there is actually something unnatural and uncomfortable about being around him.

He also thinks he is gonna get the old Intel of his dreams back . Deluded !

PG is a disaster. It is time to split the company and get rid of PG, SR, ELT all of them… and the management in Israel while we are at it…!

The board is useless, with very little deep inside industry knowledge of the semi business and the competitive landscape. Look at Pat, look at their executive leadership (CCG, DCAI, etc). The board believes the cr-p they're being sold, and noone is calling BS.

Intel's failures are found in poor strategy and execution... Not capitalism. See also, successful companies such as NVidia, Apple,... Etc.

The board is also a disaster. They are the guardians. They also don't give a rats. They are all greedy psychopaths at this level in capitalist economy. Capitalism needs regulation.....

No choice. They had to go with Pat's moon shot because the only other choice was to divest TMG.
