Sad to see so many people who care about true values are laid off. It's a shame of current HR to evaluate performance by the level of shamelessness? So many flatterers doing nothing but kissing a-s get promoted. If Illumina keeps showing disrespect to scientists and engineers, it's doomed.

HR hired an army of flatterers (who lick ...) under former CEO in order to get rid of individuals with own ideas about what the true value is for a tech company. Hard to image bluffing alone could turn a research-oriented company into a "clinical" one. So much money wasted by so-called "experts" (eg. those from medical affairs, marketing, commercial etc.) who thought they can do better than RnD.
They have hired many engineers on h1b or outsource some their functions to IT service provider who in-turn hired many h1b and now they are laying off the citizens.
