Thread regarding Lumen Technologies layoffs

Celebrity CEO

Has anybody else noticed that under Kate the inside Lumen page looks like it could be People magazine on how fixated it seems to be on Kate's goings on? And how everybody cheers and reveres her as if she's the second coming. I understand it could take some time to right this ship, but maybe we should wait until we start seeing some really positive news and some raises before we start kissing a-s like everybody seems to be doing.

“This company is woke and is going broke.”

You think it’s woke now? Your new head of HR is going to increase your wokeness by 1000x. You’ve got a month to finish your customer focused meetings and work. Because once she’s onboard it’s going to be all about wokeness.

No layoffs but a lot of people have left for other jobs ... and they tend to never backfill ... just keep overloading those remaining.

“It kind of reminds me of how people treated Obama before his 1st term ... the whole 'hope and change' thing. And yes she led a large division of Microsoft ... not the entire company, but a division with up to 10k employees ... and that groups biggest claim to fame was winning a large government contract which was then lost within a month after she left her post for retirement.”

So you’re saying her division was a success and it fell apart after she left? And you liken that to obama? Success that crashed after he left? Because that is what you just said.

Kate puts off major red flags. She is more work than past leadership and they were super woke. This company is woke and is going broke. Best case scenario is private equity but it’s going to be tough to raise money this this beater company.

Her first all hands was clearly a polished production. Complete with owl city soundtrack and every form of power to the little people messaging possible.

Her last meeting started with some very odd stuff that was cringeworthy at times and very s0cial g0v3rnance and NW0 driven ag3nda.

Kate is the Best thing ever happened to Lumen. After 10 years of Qworst and Letdown3 takeover. Kate can do it.

I've noticed. They want us to read Dare to lead. Not to be a leader. So you can be a follower like the people in the Lumen page.

All flash-but very little substance. I haven't seen any rubber hitting the road so far. I follow the advice I heard from all places the movie "Gran Torino" the barbershop scene where the barber tells the kid "Be polite, but don't kiss a-s"

From the reactions you'd think stock had jumped to $30.
