When I think back to times when I first applied here, everyone wanted to work at Intel.
How come the reputation of company doesn't seem to matter anymore to those at the top?

Those managers may care about Intel’s reputation but just not be competent or experienced enough to know what to do about it. This becomes more likely as good people leave.
