If you get a 2 or less you should be FIRED on the spot !
Also I am a people manger and I meet with the people under me regularly , but hands are tied by upper management and can’t do what is right
OP- you seem to take the DXC appraisal "process" way too seriously.
It is a sham
Doesn't lead to ANYTHING ( except, possibly,being used as a tool for redundancy).
You get half an hour at the end of the year with your "line manager" , who tells you what more could you have done, or done differently, to get a rating of 2. And because you didn't, you are a 3.
So. No raise and no career progression.
Line manager then vanishes for another year.
No bother for your upskilling, training or well being
Rinse and repeat next year

You got to ducking kidding , just leave already. 6+ years and no merit increases for those who meet or exceed goals and you’re still there. You deserve it !
Even if there is a pay rise for the lucky few it will be 3% max! Not enough to launch fireworks !
Just think that you are not getting one .. then if you do it is a good thing .. if you got less than a 2 in appraisal you won’t get one ..
Heard only 1 getting a bonus. One off.
If you want a pay rise leave.
