Belk is considering rotating store managers, some will rotate stores as much as every six months if the store is not performing well, STM's and all other management with the exception of key holders will rotate as well, just not as frequent as store managers. Belk is following the management style of stores like Publix, Target, and Dillard's, where store managers cannot be in the same store for more than 1.5 years. This also helps weed out lazy managers and eliminates favoritism which has become a huge issue at Belk since Sycamore took over in 2015. Store managers pay will not be ajusted, supposedly the bonus structure will be changed as well. I'm sure there is more to come, this is in it's early stages of consideration.

Why rotate these useless top level do nothing know nothing managers at Belk? Fire all of them saving money and time at Belk and let Publix or Target or Dollar stores pick and choose the best of Belk, the cream of the crop like BOGO buy one Belk and another one is free if you like to hire the stupid one too?
Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change or adapt to new improve ideas! It takes Belk this so long to figure out what to do is pathetic and lack of common senses and business intelligence! Another fail idea and fake strategy as Belk is always doing and expect an excellent result!
