Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Laid off very close to retirement?

Shame on Ford! It seems that there are quite a few of those who are laid off, even though they have very little left until retirement?

What is it with this site and spelling!?! I wrote the word "shanked" and the site inserted "spanked". More DEI/PC stuff I guess.

What did you expect - that's exactly what happened on 8/22. Hopefully this round got the LL5 that spanked me.

Yup, the ones who sued were under 55 and short of 30 years. They were either close to 55 or close to 30 years but their pension/lump sum really suffered.

Anyone with 27 1/2 years or more or within 2 years of age 55 should exempt from a layoff.

Any contacts or clue of how to do that? Or anything similar plan this time? I am on. One month salary? nothing to lose

That place is a sh-t hole in so many ways. Don’t understand why they treat people like they are the enemy Especially when people have spent more than half of their life dedicated contributing to that place. Karma will catch up.
