It wasn't like that before. I remember a time when people really tried to give their best and add value here. What I don't understand is why those in top positions tolerate it, they know that many here are just milking the company, but they are not doing anything to change it. It's as if no one cares about the future of this company.

Why don't you mention that to Wayne? If you were responsible for a colossal failure on your level that could be analogous to losing the company $1B+, you would be out on your @ss the next day. How do you explain the raise Wayne got? Who is really milking the company for absurd amounts of money? Try answering those questions.
Just know that you will get back what you put out there. Think it’s cute to milk the company? Karma is a mother..you will reap what you sow, and will be milked in due time.

Employees have decided they are over invested in the company. The CEO wanted to align with industry standards, now he’s got it! Most employees are milking a paycheck now.

We are just following the example of our dear leader Wayne who failed as a CEO last year and still milked the company for a 157% pay raise.
Remember the August 2021 employee meeting, “we over invested in the employees and will now align with industry standards.” Or promising thousands of employees permanent remote, then going back on their word and making them come in 3 days starting Sept then 4 days starting January 2024.
So, why would the employees bust their bu-t for a company that doesn’t do the same for them now.
Imagine thinking people would care about the future of the company…when the company does not care about the future of the people
