Thread regarding USAA layoffs

It is a challenge to reconcile this with any discussion of how employees will be supported.

August 2021 employee meeting, “we over invested in the employees and will now align with industry standards.”

There is a standard as to how low USAA will go?

I thought they were off their rockers at the anniversary event when they were feeding us the idea that they were/are the best employer that ever was.

They were not, and definitely now are not the best I had ever seen. Probably one of the worst.

They knew their master plan with that "program" of trying to convince everyone as to how great they are. They knew they were going to pull the rug, and wanted everyone to stay (until they gave them the heave-ho).

USAA needs to watch out. The minute jobs are plentiful again, there will be a mass exodus.

I reconciled it by taking my talents elsewhere.
