Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Cancel the Holiday Parties

With the layoffs that have occurred and with at least 2 more massive layoffs upcoming before years end, along with the company posting it’s first ever loss in 100 years, to go along with employee morale dead, there is no point in having the holiday parties, only to have the kool-aid drinkers give thanks to USAA and saying how we don’t deserve this, blah blah!

There is no reason to cancel it. We can all have holiday party at local Wendys or Whataburger and pay out of pocket. At least that's what we can effort with the current on call pay ($30/day for the entire Saturday's oncall work)

The last few layoffs have been posted on this site days before they’ve happened along with the areas being affected. So I’ll take this site over anything the company says on connect or email.

Almost no one knows when more layoffs are coming, and the few that do aren't going to post here.
