Now is not the time to become complacent. I think everybody and their mother should be aware by now that job security doesn't exist at USAA and it's only a matter of time before we hear about more layoffs that might affect any one of us. Knowing that, ask yourself, do I have transferable skills? If the answer is no, then start working on expanding your skillset right away, before it's too late.

Great point. Leverage all the training offered and get the finances ready.
This is good advice. Brush up on all your skills. Make that résumé look pretty and post out anywhere and everywhere.
