Nobody matters anymore aside from those at the Executive leadership level. The rest of us are considered expendable headcount at the will of Wall Street and the board.

If you are a nurse, there is a huge nursing shortage going on. Go work at a hospital at a case manager or at an assisted living. Home care supervisor. Go back to school. How long were you at Elevance? They paid tuition reimbursement. Did you further your degree while you were there? Optum, CVS, Cigna all hiring but do it on their websites not through 3rd partly like indeed or Glassdoor. Good luck. This place sux. Next place take advantage of tuition reimbursement. Most nurse managers are not qualified to manage a chicken coop but they get those advanced degrees.
Left 12/2022, and as a nurse, I have had a terrible time to and cannot get a job. The manager I had black balled me. I have been a nurse for over 40 yrs and cannot get a job even though I am qualified. It is terrible and so mean that someone could do that to someone. She isn't a leader, she is a vengeful bi--h. I am about to get a job a Market Basket grocery store. It has been over 7 mos and I am experienced. I can't believe one person can ruin one person's life. I won't give her the satisfaction of offing myself. I am tired. I have gotten certified since then in Diagnosis Codes, telehealth, NH WorkReady and I am Certified Case Manager. Anthem has hit a really high low. The Labor Board is next.
That is what I need to say. After over 100 applications with Indeed, I keep being knocked down. I just keep pulling up my boot straps and keep sending applications that I qualify for every week, at least 10. Highest pay in NH is 427.00 per week with a max of 11,000.00 per year. How does someone live on this pay? I am nearing my max, so what I do? Does this person know what she has done to me? Yes, she is out to ruin everything for me. I am tired of fighting, but I will not give up. If standing up for yourself causes you to be fired from a big company, then these companies need to be fought. They have more money like pharmaceutical companies. I will gather people and start a protest, as I know I am not alone. If I have to be like other people who believe in being able to say what is needed, a boss who plays you, what is leadership, they need to go if that person cannot be a voice for you. Being played for 6 months, then being turned on is so brutal and mean. Prior to last 6 months of my job, I met all metrics, 100% engagement, 95-100% quality review, and made WFM's quota. I will not go into that one, as they have no medical background, make your schedule and time you. It is so insulting to nurses. If the nurses don't say anything, than nothing will change. Just an FYI.
