There are plenty of union jobs in the Midwest! Probably start you out around $30 an hour. Go get a pair of boots and come get ya some! $$$

Union severance tops out at a year.

Guaranteed raise every year. Written into the contract. Way too many people going years around here without a raise at all.
NEWSFLASH.....Office people have severance pkgs too - not just techs. But I know how techs think they run the place! LOL
You stay for the severance package. If you are a union tech, that's a much much bigger payday. Or, you work from home and have two jobs.
