VSP has begun, employees need big numbers here in OCTO/SATG & below otherwise groups such as InfoSec that must reach targets will be heading in IVSP to meet the necessary budget numbers, best get your resumes in order and get ahead of the curve the market is getting tight, remote jobs are no longer prevalent, employers want employees in the office so if you moved during CV19 then local is now your option unless open to relocating again. Any new updates about remaining headcount reduction target in OCTO/SATG?
Pat has got an obvious aversion to firing people. That's not doing the company any good.
It is terrible that this has been dragged out for so long. Everyone knows there are tens of thousands of additional cuts coming.
If they let everyone who wanted out go Greg will have no org to run.
All I’m hearing about from others is people who have been denied. This is crazy.
Correct no cuts in SATG, but folks are being asked to "cut themseles out" in IT, OCTO and SATG. The way to see this round : if you are not contributing to IFS or not planning to contribute towards IFS....you might as well look for another position elsewhere.
No cuts in SATG
CCG announced all its layoffs by Friday. Deep cuts this time in functions such as Validation and Program Management. Guess if you are not building anything on time, there is nothing to validate or PM. DCAI layoffs to be finalized by July 5th
This is a tough time for all. Let’s be compassionate and sensitive to the folks who are impacted. Cuts this deep are no longer based on logic or performance
Just like OCTOpus it has a large head like structure with GL that has tentacles into every division. Absorbs other smaller clouds and companies and spits them out. Time has come to make it into pulpo tapas.
