Your own development

Who is of impression that TR does not care about your own development within the company? Do you feel like TR is trying to ignore your expertise by giving you a better opportunities or trying to use your knowledge (means using you) to pass it over to less experienced employees (so they can shine)?

"Project Lotus" - I'd laugh harder except it wasted so much money. It was a giant excuse for people to fly around and do nothing. Then the "Change Program" came in with "MVP" stuff. It would have been more accurate to call it the "Chop Program."

What’s important is not your development, but who you’re friends with and your age now. Sad Fact.
It would be wonderful if they went back to something that resembles the recruitment material.
The negative changes to environment, culture, sense of team came in 2020.
I loved working for TR. I want to love it again

Definitely, they want people to think they are not great as they think they are , so you may stay and not be hired somwhere else while supporting their new unexperienced employees telling you it is your personal development haha (means do step back and dont move forward) ..pity but most clever people will leave and work for competitors :)

Yes and this is would shake things up in the wrong way. If you hire the right people and have a clear vision, you shouldn’t need to dismantle teams that excel in order to “teach” others. What works for one team may not work for another.

The only personal development TR put into was Peccarelli's personal trainer. TR funded this. Was about as successful as Project Lotus.

I think it’s more just sheer ignorance/incompetence. There just is not enough smart people to know what people are needed to create the right team.

In my experience here, I have to sell people on the vision of the role. It’s a long 1-2 year process.

Those I sell it to are the ones with the goals to meet and I’m telling them this is how/who is needed. They agree, but it takes 2 years to get that done.

However, the business says we can’t add head count so we need to borrow from Peter to pay Paul.

The company is a case book example of cutting off the nose to spite the face. Sheer ignorance.

So the answer is yea to your question, but it’s done indirectly.

Needed to correct it: Who is of impression that TR does not care about your own development within the company? Do you feel like TR is trying to ignore your expertise by NOT giving you a better opportunities, kind of keeping you in a shadow even if you do have all necessary skills/expertise or trying to use your knowledge (means using you) to pass it over to less experienced employees (so they can shine)?
