The guest list has been hidden stating number of guest too large. Entitled People Leader Forum. No other information given and my Team Lead has no info. Should this be concerning considering how the latest round of layoffs were handled? Or maybe someone has some insite into this meeting scheduled for next week.

Starting to get text that some people are being laid off
It is NOT concerning layoffs but a true learning event with an invited guest speaker. However, it is understandable why an email like that would be questioned with the way recent layoffs were handled. Fears and suspicions abound.
Hopefully they're just going to be giving people leaders talking points around recent events. Fingers crossed for you
