Someone mentioned parts shortages. I often wonder if the leadership is doing everything they can to solve that issue or if they could still do more?

Spare parts? I've been waiting months for simple install items like tie wraps and RJ heads.
Spares? Nah. We can wait 4 days for the card to be shipped in from another market if we're lucky.
a lot of the equipment is so outdated, they buy used parts on eBay
If it’s not GPON, they don’t care. If it’s an old and dying FMT-150 fiber system, it’s gonna have to be dead for weeks before they even notice!
They can only layoff so many each month, and it's not clear they intend to use the proceeds for spare parts anyway.
