@1fcr+1ndewTgE I disagree that 19 years at Dell is nothing to brag about.
19 years at Dell has provided several million dollars in salary, stability for my family and life. I have met and worked with hundreds of incredibly talented people, many of whom are lifelong friends and colleagues. Some are not here, some arent, but it is a phone call away and we can do something good together.
I have learned skills most would never dream about and certainly I would not have imagined doing before being here, rolled out programs of work at a scale that simply would not happen elsewhere, been directly involved in projects that educate, save, support and even bring profits to many corporate and government agencies.
Ive also had a lot of fun doing it. You work hard, you play hard. Maybe not as much now but thats also fine.
So yeah I think I have a bit to brag about. I have a house, food on the table and know things. If I was not here, I would be employed tomorrow because of that great reputation Dell enabled.
Or. I could just sit here and wallow in how bad things are.
The author of this post originally should be proud of themselves. They have been through all the last 15 years and punched it. They know things many would never dream of. Have a coffee, get a smile on your face and keep moving forward :)
