Moving us to the other side of the building - same floor. They waste so much money for no reason. They are worthless!

CPG is worthless. They just protect themselves. They lost TONS of people's things during the pandemic & RTO & NEVER took accountability. Add the terrible seating & state of the office floors after RTO.
Are they making room for others displaced by building closures or construction? Where is the OP located?
They created this inefficient hotel seating nightmare. What a freakin joke.
If it's self seating, who's going to know what floor you sit at or what side of the floor you're in?
There's not that many CPG people left, the vast majority of their work is now contacted. Those that remain are true survivors and they'll do whatever they have to do to ensure their job is safe. Their involvement in closing buildings as cover for downsizing peeps and RTO is unforgivable. They are the worst kind of collaborators.
CPG is obviously posturing for self preservation.
That department was a contributing factor for RTO too.
