When rewards coming back ?

Feels like way too much work than before and no reward.

Rewards? We're allowing you come back to the office. Is this not reward enough?
Don't you miss your colleague? The outstanding cafe's? The wonderful parking? Assigned cubicles?

Pay the employees to work hard right now.

I feel like I am working too hard and not getting the market value nor any reward for working harder. And working harder will be what will be needed at Intel for next year.

Can I leave, yes. Certainly under consideration.

I think the company not paying enough is keeping the employees in limbo. You have employees who are working harder and not getting paid enough. so what is their motivation to work harder ? Might as well collect the check.

OR pay the folks who are remaining and expect top performance.

Not sure what is the motivation for folks right now to work harder if they are not going to reward your over and beyond work ?

Management just told us that they're h o p i n g for a merit/promo budget for next year.
Hoping.....sounds promising.

I wouldn't hold my breath for "rewards" to return for anyone but Upper Management. Don't think Pat can survive much longer considering he took a $100K pay cut. I mean, only $179,000,000 to live on? He's probably surviving on Ramen Noodles and ketchup.

They just handed it all over to unions to build empty shells that are supposed to be fabs. The ELT sure know how to motivate!

Leaving Intel for a competitor was reward enough.

Pat read it wrong. He said "restore and reward", but what he meant was "deplore and re-ta-d."

All the Intel long timers -low lifers have their pa-ties in a bunch just because they actually gotta sweat a bit and work extra hard. Ask not what your company can do for you but what you can do for your company. And be grateful you still have a job.

Free economy. Leave if u need to whine, but once ur done and decide to stay then make a difference. Challenge status quos. Above all, all you long timers - low lifers challenge your own self limiting mindsets which is responsible for getting us here.

One of the cultures poisoning Intel is that of constant complaining.
The technology it too slow.
The design kit keeps changing.
The tools don't work.
Things are better elsewhere.

To reinforce a previous opinion... if you don't like it, leave so you don't infect others. If you stay, stop complaining and fix things.

Fat chance. Intel rewards are for friends and family only.

🤣 rewards?

rewards are for employees that work at companies that generate a profit... and who do outstanding work.

as soon as the company returns to profitability, you can begin to squawk... until then, go back to your cubicle and get your work done.
