What about this week?

Do we know what to expect in the coming days?

So, for anyone who hates building their resume, allow me to give you a little pro tip:

Pay Indeed/someone else to write it. I had Indeed write mine last year and it was the best $89 I ever spent. Now I just add stuff to it as needed.

Well, for me this week the original shock has waned a bit. I’ve started getting my resume and LinkedIn profile dusted off, and suggest you do the same.

I updated my LinkedIn to show my current role and job duties. Yesterday I got out my resume and gave it a refresh to add CVS. Even though I had been putting that off, because it makes this all feel more real, it feels kind of empowering to know if sh-t goes down I’ve already got that crossed off my list.

I started peeking at job openings in my field. May or may not apply to some jobs this week. The bummer is that I was actually in a good groove and while there are imperfections was overall enjoying my current role at CVS.

Please look out for yourselves, and if you haven’t updated your LinkedIn or resume in a while start that process. Worst case scenario is you keep your job but now everything’s up to date.

I can’t decide even if I’m NOT laid off, do I want to stick with a company with a leader who thinks of people as dispensable? Or is it a sign to explore other jobs? I haven’t been here long, but this tanked the overall morale and goodwill that had built up in me working for CVS Health. Reinforces that we’re all nothing but numbers to corporations. They dangle perks and benefits our way simply to keep us loyal, not because they care.

I'm in Illinois and haven't heard anything further about the 3-day requirement. My boss asked us to come in once a week and that's it. He said RI is draconian about the requirement there but doesn't know or care what goes on elsewhere.

Personally I'm going to play it safe if I still have a job 9/5. No point in surviving the layoff only to be fired for attendance.

No, because your management team wants you to freak out for another week.

From what I've gathered the high number layoffs will occur next Monday and Tuesday. Also, hearing if you live within a certain vicinity of the office you will have to return 3 days a week. If you do not then you might be potentially let go. Can anyone else give insight on this? My source is from someone in HR

How do we know the majority will be next Monday and Tuesday? I thought it was mostly going to happen this week and be done by the 14/15th.
