I have a few colleagues who are still convinced that their commitment and hard work will protect them from layoffs.
I can't believe that some people still think that way. It's not good to panic, but you better dust off your resume. Just my 2 cents.

it is hard to get a job now compared a year ago, bad timing guys.
Why would anyone even want to stay here? Make yourself look as terrible as possible for real peace of mind.
