Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Aug 14th

Is it the consensus that Aug 14th is the day the actual layoffs will happen? Does anyone know for sure?

I was told by a manager in HR, that the Hr layoffs will most likely happen after the workday transition on September 5th. They need everyone for the transition and then will can some people.

From now until then there are supposed to be layoffs. The apparent "last layoff day of this 1st round" is end of day Monday 8.15

It sounds about right. I work at Omnicare and during the pandemic they did layoffs every 6 months in April and October. The people were always notified a Monday in the middle of the month with a two weeks notice. So their last day would be on a Friday at the end of the month. It's just horrible how they handle it though. We would be told they were going to be layoffs and you would get a phone call if it affected you and just sit and wait.

My Director said they thought Aug. 15. So ya, maybe around 14/15?

I think its every or any day between now and then - right now i see a lot of execs rolling out the door...... or i'm sorry "retiring" or "leaving the company"

whatever everyone knows they were fired or asked to leave too
