AT&T Ethics Hotline

Anyone can file an ethics complaint regarding the discriminatory comments against older AT&T workers that John Stankey made about in the July 26th, 2023 Employee Town Hall Live Stream. AT&T is not posting the replay of this event due to Stankey's verbal gaffe. You can opt to file a complaint anonymously or give your name if you like. No retaliation for Ethics complaints are tolerated. Demand that they release the replay so that "ALL" AT&T Employees can heard the actual words spoken by the AT&T CEO. No data scrubbing and no cover-ups AT&T!!!

AT&T Ethics Hotline
888-871-2622

If you are an employee who may have recorded Stankey's comments then please contact me at ATTfiredme@proton.me. I would love to obtain a copy.

The hotline is to protect the company. Outside groups take the calls and inside ppl investigate what they want. 45 days after I named CEO John Stankey in a lawsuit I was fired. I had 20 years of good reviews and my 21 review was below expectations 30 days AFTER an external EEOC Compliant. HR is afraid of investigating top leaders. A VP once told me again, again, don't email me. Bill Blase said don't tell me when he was on the payroll. Asset Protection once told me we are not investigating this. The internal hotline told me to file externally., If harassed by the top you have to go. If you file se-ual harassment they come after you. I was truly clueless and thought 20 years of good reviews would support my claim but not when you name Red Susan Johnson or Stanley. Huntley turns his head as if he is clueless and even stole my severance. They could so it to anyone.

Ethics hotline does nothing for employee. It is a waste of your energy. It may get on a report for senior leadership but your VP basically says what he or she thinks. It’s accomplished nothing except more administration - that costs T - and there is definitely retaliation from leadership. For example. If you call the hotline even for the most legitimate item, you will never get a good rating or award.

Here’s how stupid this is. John Stankey is old and there’s no crime against stating facts & market trends. Facts are facts

T does not care about ethics, they just want to know who the snitches are. Hence, the hotline.

Call your lawyer today. Don't jeopardize your case by waiting. Tomorrow might be too late.

The CEO John may have forgotten we have a culture of over sensitive senior employees that once they met retirement eligibility can claim the company owes them. “Mama he hurt my feelings and I’m calling HR.” Try and find the money att pays somewhere else and go to the house. Times have changed things and yes it’s not the same when you started numerous decades ago. I’m ready for all the negativity coming my way because I hurt your feelings too. Please call your mommy that raised a whiner to feel better.

In response to: They lack transparency on this matter so what else is being hidden? Some of the accounting needs to be looked at.

The so called deals need to be reviewed. We have other companies lay out our capital bc we don’t have the money to build & then we pay back all kinds of ways — it’s basically “loans” in disguise —
Gray areas but no one seems to care

Maybe shareholders will demand more transparency on how we are paying to build and sustain our network - not just fiber

One thing is for certain, T never has and never will care about ethics.

Would it surprise you that the Ethics is not there to protect you? But it is there to protect the company from lawsuits and other legal action. Call Ethics to your face is blue and don’t forget to tell them your boss misgenders you.

If you are still working at T, how were you discriminated against? You are still an active employee.

Yea for now this thing ain’t over.

The problem a law firm would have is he amount of time and money they would have to invest before getting a judgement only then to be held up on appeal. A lawyer doesn’t want to wait 12 years to be paid. You might have a hard time getting them to take the case.

“I won’t be active any longer come December!”
That is your choice.

Stankey's comments in combination with the recent mass layoffs are no accident. That alone is worth investigating for discriminatory actions. Don't let a lazy lawyer advise you there is nothing there. Find the right lawyer.

This won’t bea popular response - so don’t shoot the messenger. I did contact an attorney and was told since 15,000 employees are being impacted - there's probably a mix of all ages that are impacted regardless of stanks public comments. So the case would be hard to win. If anybody has any solid legal advice - pls post it. Pls no trolls.

They lack transparency on this matter so what else is being hidden? Some of the accounting needs to be looked at. Why are we still borrowing money when our alleged #1 goal is paying down the debt.

His comments were clearly discriminatory in nature and a violation of AT&T Ethics no doubt. If people don't report it then he will get away with it. AT&T should be forced to release the replay and Stankey should be accountable for his statements.
