Of course the stock price goes up. Dividend is always paid, and well.
CEO, CFO and BOD panders to a single activist investor who sits on the board and forces stock manipulation. DH, take him down and the employee bleeding will stop.
If you work at Seagate you are a retail investor du$b a$$.
thank you for reinforcing how stupid retail traders are. Appreciate your money.
A nice stock profit makes one forget about Huawei.
Remember Enron took less than one year to go from a high of $90.00 to worthless. It makes you wonder if Dave’s Super Investors have started the run up as they get ready to exit. This could be the last Pump and Dump, STX is way to dangerous from my blood much safer stocks out there that also pay dividends.
Affirmed dividend today, stock jumped another 5%
The very notion of paying any dividend at all when the company is broke and getting broker-er buy the minute, is the very definition of stock manipulation. If you can’t understand that then you must be very ignorant about how the stock market works. But hey if you ain’t cheating you ain’t trying hard enough, I guess? Oh didn’t we start hearing that “Skynet went selfaware” aka AI, back in like 1984?
Also need to eliminate more headcount to raise stock price. Getting $100 a share again by end of FY24 is a great moonshot goal. Do whatever it takes!
I see Seagate stock pumpers have infiltrated this thread. Pump and dump.
AI and HAMR will skyrocket the stock above 70.
You have a lot to learn about stock value/price my friend. You are completely ignorant in the area by way of this question. Sorry, but it's true.
Intel market cap is $144B. STX is $13.5B. Stock prices are a function of shares outstanding
Still repurchasing stock I guess.
Leadership should raise dividend and then watch stock price hit $80. In addition, leadership should maintain salary cuts to help manage cash flow.
