Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Heya, Frank - take your RTO and shove it!

Free at last, fellas!

Just accepted an offer, it comes with a solid raise, and oh yeah, it's fully remote. Just sent my notice a few minutes ago, and the manager immediately scheduled a 1-1 w/ me for later today.

(nope, not taking any counter-offers, though I think it's more likely to try and set up some sort of turnover plan. Going to go bare-minimum on that one.)

Maybe Frank can hire 3 devs in Pune to cover for me after I'm gone?

Have a 2nd interview with a family owned software company next week. I really hope I get the offer because as soon as I submit my 2 weeks, I'm gonna take FB up on his offer from the Q2 update and let him know his policies are going to gut the company's experience. Good luck getting client complaints down when no one here knows sh-t about fu-k.

Congratulations! I left a couple of months ago with no job in the offing. I was so burned out and bitter I just had to quit.

Started a new job this week and I am overwhelmed by the difference in the people. Welcoming, cool, actually collaborative. What a difference! And it’s fully remote. Hang in there!!

Congratulations! You won’t regret it. There is an amazing life you be lived outside of Frank’s toxic leadership. Be sure to tell him to kiss your sweet cheeks as you exit the office.

1 cr8p developer + 1 cr8p developer + 1 cr8p developer = 3 X THE CR8P

Oh it's worse than that.

1 developer --> 1 man day's worth of actual work
2 developers working on same project --> 1.9 man day's worth of actual work
3 developers working on same project --> 2.5 man day's worth of actual work

Hence:

1 cr8p developer + 1 cr8p developer + 1 cr8p developer > 3 X THE CR8P

Congrats!

I was so happy to get out, but felt bad at the same time knowing my team was going to have to absorb an incredible amount of work.

Congratulations. Don't give notice until the first day of your new job to protect yourself. Some companies pull offers prior to start date leaving you in a bad place.
